When I’m traveling, I try to look my best. I know comfort is what most people go for but to me, I feel presentation is everything and it may just lead to an upgrade or the benefit of the doubt. Similarly, I make sure I’m freshly showered and wearing a versatile scent.

When in close quarters, we can all become irritable. It’s crowded, hot and we just want to get to our destination. The last thing we want to deal with is someone sitting next to us smelling like (insert simile here). That said, when I’m traveling, I experience anxiety on what scents to bring. I don’t have access to my full range and I’m beholden to the few I do.

Above are a few fragrances that I’ve gravitated to time and time again for three reasons. 1) They have great longevity. When traveling, travel time can be unpredictable, especially with airline delays. If you’re on vacation or a conference, you’re typically on the go all day. Keeping that freshness is key and a good scent that lasts is important. 2) None of them are overly spicy. I have nothing against spicy scents; however, when in business or traveling, proceed with caution. In close quarters for long periods of time, it’s not something I want to smell and it can be off-putting. Play it safe. Speak for yourself…don’t let your scent do it for you. It might send the wrong message. 3) Last and certainly not least, TSA compliant. If you don’t want to check your bag, all of these fit carry-on rules.

If you don’t own any fragrances that are TSA compliant, pick up an atomizer that allows you to transfer your scent of choice to something that is. Travalo has one that’s easy to use and won’t break the bank.
